Configure the Package Logs in the OMS Package

Package logs record events that occur when code is executed in the Salesforce OMS package for Buy with Prime. The logs show both successful operations and errors, storing them as records in the package log object. You can configure package logging to enable or disable logs, set the types of events to capture, limit the number of records to retain, and manage existing log records.

Enable or disable package logging

The Salesforce OMS package enables package logging by default. To enable or disable package logging, do the following:

  1. In your Salesforce organization, choose the App Launcher.
  2. In the search box, enter amazon buy with prime for oms.
  3. Under Apps, choose Amazon Buy with Prime for OMS.
  4. Choose Configuration, and then choose Package Log Settings.
  5. Turn on or turn off Enable Package Logging.

Configure package logging

To configure package logging, do the following:

  1. In your Salesforce organization, choose the App Launcher.
  2. In the search box, enter amazon buy with prime for oms.
  3. Under Apps, choose Amazon Buy with Prime for OMS.
  4. Choose Configuration, and then choose Package Log Settings. Turn on Enable Package Logging.
  5. For Logs Captured, choose All Activity to record all events or Errors Only to record only error events.
  6. For Max Log Records Retained, choose 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 to set the storage limit.
  7. (Optional) To delete existing logs, choose the Delete Log Records button.
