In the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager tool, configure Prime promotions to offer exclusive discounts to Prime members.

Create a new Prime promotion

To create a new Prime promotion, do the following:

1. Open the Business Manager tool for Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
2. On the Merchant Tools menu, choose Online Marketing, and then choose Promotions.
3. Choose New.
4. In the ID box, enter an identifier for the promotion, and in the Exclusivity box, specify how the promotion combines with other promotions.
5. Under Amazon Buy with Prime, select Is Prime Exclusive?.
6. For Prime Promotion Event ID, choose the Prime promotion event that corresponds to the new promotion.
7. Choose Apply.

Apply a Prime promotion

To specify how to apply a Prime promotion, do the following:

1. On the Merchant Tools menu, choose Online Marketing, and then choose Promotions.
2. Choose the promotion you want to create a product promotion rule for.
3. Under Promotion Rule, for Promotion Class, choose Product and Without Qualifying Products.
4. For Discount, enter the discount value and choose Percent Off.
5. For Discounted Products, choose Edit, and then configure the following:
   • For Qualifier, choose Is Prime Buyable?.
   • For Operator, choose equals.
   • For Value, choose true.
6. Choose Save.
7. Under Promotion Rule, choose Apply.

Add a Prime promotion to a campaign

To add a Prime promotion to a campaign, do the following:

1. On the Merchant Tools menu, choose Online Marketing, and then choose Campaigns.
2. Choose New Campaign.
3. Under Experiences, for Promotions, choose Add Promotion.
4. Choose the promotion you want to add to the campaign, and then choose Apply.
5. Under Scheduling & Qualifiers, set the start and end dates for the campaign.
6. For Customer Groups, choose PrimePromoCustomer, and then choose Apply.
7. On the New Campaign page, choose Apply.

Add a new Prime promotion event

To update the list of Prime promotion events, do the following:

1. On the Administration menu, choose Site Development, and then choose System Object Types.
2. Choose the Promotion object type, and then choose Attribute Definitions.
3. Choose the BwPPromoEvent attribute ID.
4. Under Attribute Value Range Definition, in the New Value row:
   • For Value, enter the new event ID.
   • For Display Value, enter the event display name.
5. Choose Apply.
